UHEAA Outreach Events

UHEAA's Outreach department puts on events all throughout the year to help Utah's students and their families learn how to pay for college.

Fall Financial Aid Events: In the fall, our events are focused on teaching students between 9th and 12th grade about the various financial aid options available like grants, scholarships, work-study, and student loans. The fall events also have representatives from Utah's colleges and Universities in attendance to answer any questions students may have about their institutions. These events usually happen between mid-end August through December of each year at high schools all throughout Utah.

FAFSA Completion Events: Starting in January and continuing throughout March, our events are all about the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and and how to complete/submit the application. The FAFSA is the application that college students need to complete each year they are in school in order to apply for federal financial aid. We travel to high schools throughout the state and make workshops available where any student and their parent(s) can attend to receive free and professional help completing their application correctly and on time.
